Harvest Bible Institute was founded in 2012 and is a private, nonprofit institution.
Accreditation of an institution is a process that takes years to achieve. Harvest Bible Institute is endeavoring to first become an Affiliate Member of The Association for Biblical Higher Education. Once the Affiliate process is complete HBI will seek full accreditation status.
Harvest Bible Institute is also applying to be an approved Continuing Education Unit (CEU) provider for the Association of Christian Schools International. This is part of our commitment to improve the quality of Christian educators for every stage of life.
In the near future our degree programs will be declared exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. This exemption is not based upon any assessment of program quality under established licensing standards.
Harvest Bible Institute is affiliated with, and is an extension of Harvest Family Church. Harvest Family Church is a nondenominational ministry located in Fayetteville, North Carolina which is near Fort Bragg and Pope Army Airfield.
